Product description
The Pisoni family has been producing this wine for generations, made from grapes from vineyards situated 450 metres above sea level, on the hill of San Siro, near the small Romanesque church of the same name. It is such a refined and special wine that on 23 July 1930, the diocese of Trento recognised it as "mass wine" and thus as "genuine wine produced for the celebration of the Divine Sacrifice". This honorary title underlines the craftsmanship and spiritual value attributed to this wine.
Pisoni's Chardonnay comes into its own thanks to a careful six-month maturation in stainless steel tanks, followed by a two- to three-month bottle maturation. This method ensures the freshness and elegance that are so characteristic of this wine. In the glass, it shows a bright straw yellow colour. In the nose, we find fruity notes, with in particular a scent of ripe, golden apple.
On the palate, this Chardonnay is delicate, refreshing and fruity. The ripe apple is also evident on the palate, accompanied by a soft structure and a balanced finish. The result is a harmonious wine that exudes purity and tradition, and goes perfectly with light starters, white meat or as a refined companion to a festive occasion.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
