Product description
On the hills overlooking the Pisoni family estate stands a small Romanesque church dedicated to San Siro, the saint who - according to ancient tradition - as a child gave baskets full of bread and fish to Jesus, who miraculously multiplied them. This spiritual location is the setting for a wine tradition that has lived on for more than a century. In the mild microclimate of the Valle dei Laghi and on the clay-rich soils of Le Part's vineyards, grapes of French origin such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot find ideal conditions to ripen perfectly year after year.
This wine, composed of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, undergoes a careful maturation of at least 12 months in wooden barrels, followed by six months of bottle maturation. This approach creates a balanced and structured final result in which the finesse of Merlot and the power of Cabernet complement each other. In the glass, it shows ruby red with a floral and enveloping aroma that immediately invites tasting.
On the palate, this wine is powerful yet round and supple, with a soft structure that combines elegance and fullness. Perfectly suited to accompany rich meat dishes, pasta with meat sauce or refined charcuterie from the Italian tradition, this wine offers a complete culinary experience that reflects both history and terroir.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
