The 'San Giorgio' Piedmont Dolcetto DOC is a red wine made from 100% Dolcetto that is perfect with oriental food and white meat.
The name San Giorgio refers to a Benedictine monastic settlement, which is no longer there, located in the hamlet of Vinchio in an elevated and sunny position, particularly suitable for growing vines.The wine has a ruby red colour with purple hues. The nose is fruity, intense and fresh with typical aromas for the Dolcetto grape: such as violet and cherries. On the palate: good freshness, dry and spicy.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
