The 'Sangvineto' Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Superiore DOC is a red wine from Mazzola made from 100% Lacrima grapes. The wine is excellent to pair with a drinks board with salami.
Thanks to the unique characteristics of the Mazzola vineyard, which produces wines with great structure and longevity, Mazzola decided to vinify wines using innovative technologies and methods. In doing so, they capture another of its unique characteristics: the ability to evolve spicy and intriguing nuances. In this way, winery Mazzola obtains a wine that can refine for a long time and therefore develop complexity.
All grapes are picked by hand. Cold maceration is then applied to extract aromas and colour, fermentation in stainless steel tanks using the "Ganimede" method at controlled temperature. Indigenous yeasts are used.36 months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees with continuous bâtonnage.
