The 'Serpegatto' Dolcetto d'Acqui DOC is a red wine made from 100% Dolcetto that can be drunk well with a sumptuous appetiser but suffices with any dish.
The wine has an intense ruby red colour with spicy accents on the nose with present raspberry accents. On the palate, the wine drags you along and you experience the suppleness and ease with which this wine can be drunk. The wine has subtle acidity with an extremely harmonious body. The distinct aromas and recognisable spices make this an extremely useful meditation wine. The grapes are picked manually in late October, after which fermentation in stainless steel tanks begins. Then the ageing process begins in old 'Cementine' or cement barrels originating from the last century that give the wine the perfect conditions to age and develop properly. The wine should be drunk between 18-20 degrees.
