A unique online wine experience now has a physical location

With the opening of the concept store, ONWINE is now also offering its unique online concept offline. The online platform currently has more than 100 connected winemakers, who now have the opportunity to promote themselves on-site through the concept store.

Gijs van Opstal, co-founder of ONWINE, says: ‘Our concept resonates particularly well with vacationers. People who have had a tasting in places like Tuscany order from the same winemaker again when they are back home. With this concept store, we can bring the winemakers closer to home. With a fully changing offer every month, we can give different winemakers the attention they deserve.’

Casper, also co-founder, adds: ‘The wine world is an unfair world. Many winemakers receive very low prices for their wines due to the many intermediaries who charge exorbitant margins. This especially harms small winemakers. With the platform, we are working hard to make the wine world a little fairer. We hope that with this concept store, we can use another tool to bring small winemakers into the spotlight. We want to clearly maintain the focus on online, but we realize that wine also needs offline explanation.’
