The Sforzato Valtellina Superiore DOCG by Marcel Zanolari is a red wine made from 100% Valtellinese Nebbiolo grapes. The wine is a classic Valtellinese wine that goes perfectly with hearty meals. Before consuming, it is recommended to air the wine for at least 2 hours before drinking it with some firmer meats and or older cheeses. The grapes are picked and dried manually. During the drying process, the grapes lose about 25% of their weight before being vinified in steel tanks. They are then aged in wooden barrels for at least 36 months. Without any interference from unnatural ingredients, the wine is bottled.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
