The 'Soladio' Kerner 2022 Vigneti Delle Dolomiti IGT is a white made from the Kerner grape. The fruity wine tastes best with a variety of cheeses and white meats.
In the dialect of Trentino, 'SOLADIO' stands for the perfect sun exposure, from sunrise to sunset. A local saying goes, "Sto posto chi l'è bel perché l'è mes a SOLADIO" meaning "It is a beautiful place because it is in the sun." Our vineyard is located in Coste Martine, Civezzano, a historic place where wine has long been successfully produced.
The terraces face south, 480 metres above sea level, which is ideal for growing Kerner, a grape variety created from a cross between Schiava Grossa and Riesling.
The large temperature difference between day and night ensures that the grapes retain their freshness and develop intense aromas of white fruit, with subtle notes of grapefruit and mango in the resulting wine. A firm structure highlights the natural minerality and gives the wine a juicy finish.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
