Product description
The Dolcetto Di Diano D'Alba is intense ruby red with violet reflections. The palate, dry and enveloping. The tannic texture is in good harmony with the acidity, making the finish special and persistent. The Sorì dei Crava is the iconic vineyard of the Crava farm located right in the centre of this Sorì. Sorì, in the Piedmontese dialect "Solatio", meaning exposed to the sun, which is where the best Diano d'Alba sweets come from.
We recommend pairing this wine with hot appetisers, parmesan and fresh pasta.
Vineyard: 100% Dolcetto Location: Sorì dei Crava is produced with the selection of the best grapes from the eponymous plot in Diano d'Alba. Poor, clayey, calcareous soil characterised by layers of more or less compact sand interspersed with grey sandstones (compacted sand and cemented by carbonates from seawater) called Arenarie di Diano. South-west exposure. Altitude: 350 m above sea level. Harvest: Manual, carried out in crates, mid-September, when phenol is fully ripe. Aging: Stopped in steel tanks until summer after harvest, undergoes some decantation for natural decantation and stabilisation. Bottled in the summer after harvest.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
