Product description
The Spumante Metodo Brut is a white sparkling wine made from Chardonnay and Garganega and is best drunk with a good appetiser but stands out in particular with dishes based on fish and shellfish.
The vineyards are spread across the southern part of the Colli Berici, where optimal sun exposure and favourable temperature variations create an ideal environment for wine production. The calcareous soils of Eocene origin add unique characteristics to the thriving grapes, mainly Chardonnay and Garganega. During the harvest season, which starts in August, grapes are carefully selected and harvested by hand. Chardonnay grapes arrive in mid-August, followed by Garganega grapes at the end of the same month. These carefully harvested grapes form the basis for a special wine, with the vintage being 2018. The ageing process is as delicate as the harvest, with the wine resting on yeast for a minimum of 36 months to achieve deep complexity and fullness.
As you approach the glass, the intense straw yellow colour stands out, with brilliant golden reflections. The fine, lively pearl predicts an energising tasting.On tasting, the wine reveals a bouquet with floral notes of acacia and yellow flowers. Pleasant notes of nespole, grapefruit and pineapple anticipate the subtle presence of dried fruit.The flavour experience is rich and velvety, with a tense and vibrant intensity. Supporting carbonic accents give it a pleasing liveliness, while it finishes with a fresh aftertaste of bitter almond. The intense persistence on the tongue makes this wine a real treat for the senses, a masterpiece that reflects the unique characteristics of the terroir.
