The Tenuta del Cavaliere Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore is a white wine made from 100% Verdicchio. This Classico Superiore goes perfectly with fish and seafood.
This award-winning white wine has an annual circulation of less than 10,000 bottles. The vineyard spreads over 12 hectares where the vines are planted in the guyot method. After a firm but short press, the must is quickly cooled to be vinified via the 'cold-soak' method. The wine is fermented for roughly 15 days in steel tanks this sur lees is aged in steel tanks. The wine is bottled at the end of March and then left alone for several months. The pale colour with greenish hints has a complex but fruity character that is elegant and well-balanced.
