Product description
The "Termu" is a red wine with a deep personal story, born from 70-year-old vines planted by Marcel Zanolari’s grandfather, Giovanni, in the Piedmont region. This vineyard is in an area Giovanni called "Termu," a Piedmontese word for the white stones marking property boundaries. Marcel chose this name to honor his grandfather, and with about 50 quintals per hectare on clay-limestone soils with southwest exposure, this wine reflects both heritage and terroir.
With an intense ruby-red color and purple edges, the "Termu" offers a powerful aroma of ripe fruit like dark berries and plums, with a full, rich expression. The winemaking is all natural: after destemming and pressing, it ferments without added yeasts in steel tanks, with a four-week skin soak. It then ages for 12 months in tanks and 10 months in the bottle (75 cl), enhancing its depth and structure, thanks to traditional Guyot pruning with low yields.
In the mouth, this wine confirms its robust character and body, with warm, soft sensations and a refreshing acidity that’s typical. It’s full and balanced, perfect with hearty dishes like red meat or game, or rich pasta. Serve at 16-18 °C to experience its strength and finesse – a wine that keeps Giovanni’s "Termu" alive and appeals to fans of bold, natural red wines.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
