The 'Terra Viva' Nero di Troia IGP Puglia Rosso is a red wine made from 100% Nero di Troia that goes perfectly with roasted meat from the barbecue, pasta with red sauces and hearty homemade soup.
The wine has a ruby red colour with intense violet reflections. On the nose, there are clear hints of ripe fruit and aromatic spices with earthy notes on the second line. The tannins are elegant and provide fine persistence. The grapes are manually harvested and selected after which they are gently pressed. Maceration takes place for a few days under controlled temperature after which fermentation continues. Maturation takes place for 7 months in stainless steel vats after which the wine matures for a further 3 months in bottle before it can be drunk.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
