Traminer Sekt Trocken 2021 is a sparkling wine characterized by a traditional fermentation in bottle, which creates a fine perlage. The nose is welcomed with aromas of rose and lychee, while the mouth fills with fresh notes of elderberry and apple. This Sekt is sustainable and fruity, making it not only a great aperitif, but also goes excellently with a variety of dishes. With an alcohol content of 12.0%, this wine offers drinking pleasure until 2029 at an ideal drinking temperature of 6-8 °C.
Vintage characteristics: The 2021 vintage was characterized by late spring frosts and a summer with little sun and above-average rainfall, resulting in a challenging vintage. High infection pressure from fungal diseases and massive foliage growth required a lot of handwork and detailed work, leading to highly selective manual picking. These conditions made it a true “cool climate vintage.”
