The Valpolicella Classcio Superiore DOC 2019 is a red wine made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella and goes perfectly with risottos, game and stews.
The grapes for this wine are harvested manually at the end of September when the grapes have reached the peak of ripeness. Maturation of the wine takes place in oak barrels for 12 months after which there is a further 6 months of aging in bottle. The wine has an intense garnet-red colour and a medium body. The wine is best served around 17°C and should be aired heavily before drinking. On the nose, the wine hints of cherry, almond and tobacco.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
