The Verrenberg Sauvignon Blanc Trocken 2022 is a tropical, fresh, full-bodied white wine made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc and is a very versatile wine, can go particularly well with a lot of dishes, but can also be drunk well on its own.
The 2022 Verrenberg Sauvignon Blanc presents itself with a bright lemon yellow color and high viscosity. The bouquet is lush and intense, with pronounced aromas of cassis, elderberries and peach, complemented by tropical notes of pineapple and mango. On the palate, the ripe flavors of peach and mango emerge, accompanied by subtle nuances of grapefruit and bell pepper, which make for a long and lively finish. The wine has a full body, making it a versatile companion to a variety of meals, as well as a true pleasure on its own.
Sourced from the Verrenberg vineyards of Goldberg and Verrenberg, this Sauvignon Blanc is fully vinified in stainless steel tanks. With an alcohol content of 13.0%, this wine is best to drink until 2030, and is best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 6 to 8°C.
The 2022 vintage was marked by drought, but eventually found its balance thanks to rainfall in September. This compensated well for the initially high concentration of must weights, resulting in excellent quality and a rich flavor experience.
