Product description
The Verrenberg Weissburgunder Trocken 2023 is a full-bodied, fruity, spicy white wine made from 100% Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc).
The 2023 Verrenberg Weissburgunder presents itself in a light lemon yellow color with medium viscosity. The nose is refined and elegant, with aromas of fine pear and a hint of vanilla spice inviting a first sip. On the palate, this wine reveals a wonderful Burgundian fullness, bringing together flavors of apricot, quince and citrus. The spiciness of the wine comes from the long, fine fermentation on lees in the 500 liter tonneau, which adds to its complexity and depth.
This Weissburgunder is already delicious to enjoy now, but will show even more of its potential when given a chance to breathe in a large glass. Sourced from the Verrenberg vineyards, specifically the Goldberg and Verrenberg locations, this wine promises a unique experience.
With an alcohol content of 12.5% and a drinking pleasure that extends to 2027, this wine is ideal for a refreshing experience at a drinking temperature of 8-10°C. The 2023 vintage began with extreme drought followed by heavy rainfall, resulting in a warm late summer that optimally supported the ripening of the grapes.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
