The Zibibbo IGT Terre Sicilia is a white wine made from 100% Zibbibo that goes well with dishes with seafood, grilled vegetables and fresh fish.
The wine carries the classification 'Sicilia, Geographical Indication' and originates from the province of Trapani, with vineyards scattered in the areas of Marsala and Mazara del Vallo. The climate in this particular area is characterised by Mediterranean conditions, including mild winters, limited rainfall and extremely warm, well-ventilated summers. The vineyards are at a medium altitude with soil of moderate density, somewhat clayey in nature. The grape harvest is done traditionally, by hand. The Zibibbo grape variety from Pantelleria is used for this wine. The wine has an aromatic profile with a harmonious and fresh mouth feel. Slightly spicy notes mean that the wine can be a nice counterpart to intense flavours such as seafood and fresh fish
